VIDEO: Blue Cross Mobile Vet Clinic Opens Today

22 September 2014

UK - A new Blue Cross ‘vet on wheels’ service offering vaccinations, worm and flea treatment, microchipping and general check-ups will begin helping Southwark’s pets today.

Mark Bossley, Blue Cross Chief Vet said: "We are delighted to be coming to Southwark for the first time.

“It is so important for owners to keep their pets healthy and make sure they are protected from nasty diseases. We'll be on hand every week to help with any concerns or worries and hope to meet many new pets and their owners over the weeks and months to come."

The Blue Cross mobile clinic will be at Southwark Park, Gomm Road entrance, every Monday (except bank holidays) between 10.00am until noon and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

The clinic operates on a 'first come first served' basis so pet owners are advised to arrive early to make sure they can see the vet and bring with them proof of benefits.

Pets needing more extensive treatment will be referred to the charity's animal hospital in Victoria.

To find out more about the mobile clinic service and what proof of benefits and identification is needed to register please visit the website or call the Blue Cross animal hospital in Victoria on 0300 777 1890.
