Manchester Dogs Home: Suspects Released Without Charge

10 December 2014

UK - Two boys arrested in connection with an arson attack on Manchester Dogs’ Home have been released without charge, writes Gemma Hyland

A JustGiving page set up to help the charity managed to raise almost £1.5 million within a few days of the fire - with donations still pouring in.

Around 60 dogs died in the blaze on 11th September 2014.

Greater Manchester Police said the 15 and 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of arson but have now been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
