Animal Hero Awards Looking for 2015 Champion

28 July 2015

UK - The RSPCA, in partnership with the Daily Mirror, has launched the third Animal Hero Awards. The annual award searchs the UK to find Britain's unsung animal heroes.

The award aims to recognise and celebrate the most inspiring examples of bravery, dedication and resilience in the animal world.

The public is being asked to nominate animals and people that have really gone above and beyond.

For animals this could be a pet who's shown amazing resilience to overcome traumatic circumstances to bring happiness into the lives of those around them or a rescue animal who had a tough start in life but is now having a second chance at a happy life.

The RSPCA is also looking for those people who have made a special effort for animal welfare in the local community and who really deserve to have their hard work recognised.
