Crufts Combines Serious Dog Care with Serious Fun

10 March 2016

UK - At Crufts – the world’s largest dog show – there’s so much to see and do but as well as serious fun, there’s serious dog care to think about.

At the Agria Pet Insurance stand in Hall 2 there’s an opportunity to have fun trying to win a car. All you have to do is guess the winning combination to the competition safe to win one. But there’s a chance to be sensible too – the company encourages pet owners to check out some seriously good deals on pet insurance to protect their pet and the family budget.

For pet owners who have economised on pet insurance this year, there’s a chance to redeem themselves in the eyes of their faithful companion. Agria are offering a special Crufts money-saving offer of 4 months half price pet insurance.

Can’t get there but are feeling the Crufts vibe? A visit to between 5-19 March provides access to the same offer.

Scamper over to Hall 3 for top-end, exclusive Swedish-designed doggy essentials that are both chic, unique and at special prices at the Agria International stand. All courtesy of the Agria Sweden team who have flown in just for the event and will be welcoming Scandinavian ex-pats looking to lap up news of home.

Agria will also be parting with a £75,000 cheque to the Kennel Club Charitable Trust – a charity that helps look after the health and welfare of all dogs. The donation brings the total to £500,000 donated by Agria since 2009.

The giving doesn’t stop there though as there are special deals for rehoming centres allowing rehomed dogs of any age to leave for their new home with 5 weeks of free pet insurance by working with Agria.

Alastair Cook, Head of Sales and Marketing at Agria is asking pet owners to sort out the serious stuff as well as enjoying the show: “It’s easy to get carried away by the glamour of Crufts but pet insurance can literally be a life saver. Not having to worry about the affordability of veterinary care when your pet is sick allows families to concentrate on supporting their pet to get well again, safe in the knowledge that they have done everything they can. Whether it’s at the Agria stand or the Kennel Club Pet Insurance stand, we sincerely hope dog owners will do what’s important first, sort out insurance and go off and enjoy the rest of show, knowing they have done something really important to protect their pet.”
